Puppet Exhibit at the Airport (March 18, 2008- thru January 15, 2009)
If you’re flying in or out of Lindbergh through Terminal 2 anytime between now and the
beginning of August, be sure to stop and enjoy our puppet exhibit at the top of the
escalators above Baggage Claim. There are eight large cases filled with examples of our
shows, programs and collections. The displays include: Indonesian Shadow Puppets, Traditional Marionettes, the puppets we made for Diversionary Theatre’s production of “Long Christmas Ride Home”, a case featuring Pam McIntire’s sketches and puppets, and another featuring the sets and puppets from her “Tom Tit Tot”, the Welsh version of “Rumplestiltskin”, a case spotlighting a number of different guild artists’ work, one on our adult work-in-progress, “Thru Thurber’s Eyes”, and a final case featuring our educational work.
Support for the Exhibit was provided by the Airport Authority. We are most grateful!
